Autism Charity Walk and ''LARIAN UTARA''


PERLIS : University Malaysia Perlis (UniMaP) holding an Autism Charity Walk and “LARIAN UTARA”  for 9THUniMAP Convocation Festival’s.  University Malaysia Perlis are formerly known as Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan Utara Malaysia (KUKUM) in English a Northern Malaysia University College Engineering it was established on 2001. However, KUKUM had changed to University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) on 2007. Today, Autism Charity Walk are held in UniMAP on 21st September 2014 at Kompleks Sukan Pauh Putra, Pauh, Perlis. There’s about 4000 participants was involved in this Autism Charity Walk and ‘LARIAN UTARA” where it consists from first year and second year degree UniMAP student’s.






Autism Charity Walk are held for a first time, and it was in augurated by  UniMAP Chancellor Duli Yang Teramat MuliaTuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Jamalulail and Raja Puan Muda Perlis Tuanku Hajah Lailatul Shahreen Akashah Khaleel.Vice Chancellor of University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) YBHG.Dato’ Prof. Dr. Kamarudin Hussin and his wife Datin Noridah Yangman are also involve in this event’s. The purpose of this event are to increase our awareness about Austism and to gives people informations about Autism and gives an informations to parents who has autism child how to guide them and how to talking and interact with them and also know which party that can help them to treat this autism diseases. Other than that, this event also shows the concerns of the public on autism and it is also shows the UniMAP social responsibility towards community through Autism Charity Walk event’s. Guests also has been entertain from the autism’s children performance along the event. Contributions raised through selling the Autism shirt at the registration counter and also the collection donations from student’s of UniMAP. Lastly, hopes after this event was held will help children with autism to grow like normal children and to exposure community about autism to ensure that one day child with autism doesn’t to be ignored by community.
